Management
Mr. Wale Aminu
(General Manager/CEO)
Wale
Aminu is the General Manager and Chief Executive Officer. He
holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration as well
as Master in Business Administration (Finance) from the
University of Lagos. He is an Associate Member, Nigerian
Institute of Management and also member, Chartered Institute
of Bankers of Nigeria.
He
commenced his Banking career in 1981 with Afribank Nigeria
Plc and worked in various departments and branches. He rose
to become Credit Officer. He resigned from the position in
1993 to join Lagoon Home Savings and Loans Limited as
pioneer Head of Credit and Marketing; he also served in
higher capacities.
Wale
Aminu also worked in Comet Merchant Bank (now First Atlantic
Bank) as Head, Banking and Treasury Operations, Greenforte
Investment Company as General Manager. He returned to Lagoon
Home Savings and Loans Limited in 2003 as Branch Manager, a
position he held until March 2005, when he assumed his
current position as the General Manager/Chief Executive
Officer of Mayfield Finance Company Limited.
He has
attended several training and seminars.
Mr. Akinwunmi Ashaolu
(Head, Credit & Marketing)
Mr.
Akinwumi Ashaolu is the Head of credit and marketing. He
attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan and University of Ado-Ekiti
where he obtained Higher National Diploma in Banking and
Finance and Master in Business Administration (General)
respectively.
He
started his banking career with Continental Merchant Bank in
January 1989 and worked with Corporate Finance, Corporate
Banking and Financial Services Departments.
He
successfully completed the Bank In-house-training programme
in Corporate Banking and attended other Banking Courses
conducted by D. C. Gardner and Company of London.
He was
Head of Treasury with Joy Finance and Investment Limited,
Manager: Capital Market with Pilot Finance Limited and Head
of Investment with Rivtrust Securities Limited before
joining Mayfield Finance Company Limited in March, 2005.
He has
attended many training programmes.
